This is not his first threat since the war began. This may be his most outlandish? I'm not sure, considering there are so many that seem unhinged. And that's the point. Perhaps President Trump is insane. Perhaps this is a degenerative brain condition. Maybe it's part of his deep intellectual plan. Or it's possibly meant the way a child would mean it. As empty words with no follow-through.
I believe it's just Trump. I imagine this is how he's been throughout his business life, and now he feels it will work with the world's leaders and their countrymen and women. I also think it's just in the nature of a narcissistic grifter who believes the world should move because he says so. I have no clue, obviously. I'm no different than anyone else in this world. I may think I know, but I have no idea. The only person who knows is Donald Trump.
The fact is, many of us know this is reckless behavior when you are the President of the United States. Can you imagine what Trump would be saying about President Trump if he were an outsider evaluating President Trump!
We deserve better as Americans. I'm not saying that the “better” is on the opposite side of the aisle, either. I don't believe any of them have our best interests at heart. He or she is out there. We don't know who they are yet. But I hope they show their face soon.
I fear we are running out of time.
