About Me
I'm Kevin Raymond. I own and operate K&E Sheet Metal, LLC, a custom HVAC sheet metal fabrication shop in the Glens Falls, New York area. We make ductwork, transitions, fittings, and custom sheet metal work for contractors and builders throughout the region.
I've been in the sheet metal trade a long time. Long enough that a lot of what I know lives in my hands more than in my head — which is part of why I started writing. Getting that knowledge out of muscle memory and into words other people can actually use turns out to be an interesting problem.
This site is where I write about the trades, fabrication, running a small shop, and whatever else comes up. It's not a business site — that's kesheetmetal.com. This is just me.
I also run Knocking Tin, which is more of a trade-focused content site for the HVAC and sheet metal world.

Plain HTML. One stylesheet. No JavaScript frameworks, no build tools, no CMS. Hosted on GitHub Pages.
It's supposed to look like 1999 because that's when personal websites were personal. You made a page, you put it on the internet, people either found it or they didn't. That seems fine.
If something looks broken, it's probably your browser. Or mine. Either way.
